Your email, in plain words.
Native Treks is not open yet. The only personal details we collect are the ones you type into our forms, and we use them for one thing.
Who we are
Native Treks is being started by Benjamin Goodaker-Craig in Oslo, Norway. He is the person responsible for your data. You can reach him at [email protected].
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, and if you choose to tell us, when you might visit and what you would like to do.
- Host form: your name, email address and what you write about your outing.
- The date and time you signed up, and which form you used.
That's it. The site has no tracking, no analytics and no advertising cookies.
What we use it for
- Waitlist: to email you about Native Treks launching, including the first outings and the founding letter. Nothing else.
- Host form: to read about your outing and reply to you personally.
We never sell your details or share them with anyone for their own marketing. We use them because you asked us to (your consent), and you can take that back at any time.
Where it is kept
Form answers are saved in a Google Sheet in our own Google account, so Google stores the data for us. Only Native Treks can open it.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for the reason you gave it to us. Then we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Every email we send will have a way to unsubscribe, or just reply and ask. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
