Your ordinary Sunday is someone's whole trip.
If you know a forest, a lake or a winter skill well enough to show it to a stranger, you could host on Native Treks. You decide what to share, when, for how many and at what price.

The kinds of outings
Not tours. The things you already do.
Our first hosts will shape what Native Treks becomes. These are the kinds of outings we would love to hear about, but if yours does not fit a box, tell us anyway.
-

Show the forest you know
A walk, a fire, coffee from the kettle. The route you always take, and the stories that go with it.
-

Teach something you grew up with
Mushrooms, berries, skating on lake ice, waxing skis. The skills people here learn as children and visitors never get to try.
-

Take people on the water
The fjord, a lake, the islands. A paddle at dusk or a quiet crossing, if you know how to do it safely.
-

Lead a day in the snow
Ski touring, snowshoes, a winter walk to a cabin. For hosts who know the conditions and the way back.
-

Bring what you’re good at
Yoga at the top, a handpan by the lake, a camera at blue hour. If you have a skill you love, the walk is just the way there.
You stay in charge.
- Your dates
- Host when it suits you. Once a season or every Sunday.
- Your group
- Keep it small. You choose the size that works for your outing.
- Your price
- You set it. We will walk you through how bookings and payments work before you commit.
- Your call on the day
- If the ice, the wind or the forecast is wrong, you move it. Safety comes first.
What we look for
Who we would love to hear from.
- You know a place or a skill well, and you would go there anyway.
- You enjoy having a few strangers along and explaining why things are the way they are.
- You can keep a small group safe outdoors, and you know when to turn back.
- You are happy to do it in English.
- You leave places as you found them.

How hosting works
- 1
Tell us what you do
The short form below. What the outing is, where it happens and when you usually go.
- 2
We have a chat
A call or a coffee, so we understand your outing and you understand us. We talk about the route, safety and what guests should expect.
- 3
Set it up your way
Dates, group size, what is included and your own price. We help you describe it so guests know what they are signing up for.
- 4
Take people out
Do what you would do anyway, with a few curious people along.

Host questions
What people ask us first.
Do I need to be a professional guide?
No. You need to know your place or your skill well, enjoy sharing it, and be able to keep a small group safe doing it. Some outings, like anything on the water or in avalanche terrain, need more experience than others, and we will tell you plainly.
Do I need a licence or insurance?
It depends on what you do. It is one of the first things we go through together, and we will point you to what applies to your outing before anything goes live.
How much time does it take?
As much as you want to give. Some hosts might run one outing a month, others every weekend in season. You choose your dates, and you can pause whenever you like.
Who decides the price?
You do. We will explain how bookings and payments work in our first chat, before you commit to anything.
Can I host in Norwegian?
Most guests will be visitors, so English matters. If you would also like to offer an outing in Norwegian or another language, you can.
Where can I host?
Anywhere in Norway you know well. We are starting in and around Oslo, but if your forest, fjord or mountain is somewhere else, tell us anyway.
What happens after I send the form?
We read every one and reply personally. If it sounds like a fit, we set up a call or a coffee to talk it through. Nothing is published until you are happy with it.
Host interest
Tell us about your outing.
A few short questions and no commitment. A person reads every one.
